This policy applies to all information collected or submitted in the FIKA application (the "App").
FIKA ("us", "we", "our") takes personal privacy seriously. We limit the collection of personal information to cases where we truly need it or is required for the operation of our products. Personal information is never shared except to comply by the law, develop and improve our products, or protect our rights.
Information We Collect
Analytics
In addition to the anonymous analytics data provided by Apple, the App uses TelemetryDeck to store anonymous analytics data. TelemetryDeck's Privacy Policy can be found here.
We use randomly generated identifiers in the App to anonymously identify devices and users. Your anonymous user identifier (the "User ID") may be synced to your other devices via iCloud. These identifiers are associated with all data sent to TelemetryDeck so that we can better understand how features are used and to help us diagnose issues.
If you email us for support or other feedback, the emails and email addresses will be retained. The email addresses will only be used to reply to the concerns or suggestions raised and will never be used for any marketing purpose.
Information Usage
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Website, the App, and customer support.
Owner Listing Reports
When you use the "Report this listing" form on a shop’s owner portal page, we record the reason you selected (e.g. "not the owner", "please remove"), any optional message you write, and basic technical metadata about your request: your IP address and browser user-agent string. If your link came from a FIKA-issued invite email, that email address is included with the report so we can reply.
We use this information to: (a) review the listing and act on your request, (b) reply to you, (c) detect abuse of the report form. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not share it with third parties beyond the operational service providers needed to run FIKA (e.g. email and hosting).
Reports are retained for as long as the related shop listing exists, plus up to 12 months after that, so we can audit listing changes and re-review if a similar report comes in. You can ask us to delete a specific report at any time by emailing hello@fikacoffee.app.
